Six Temples of Shree Swaminarayan Sampraday in India | SVG
These six temples were built in the presence of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan about 170 years ago. The temples are located in the State of Gujarat, India. Bhagwan Swaminarayan himself installed the “Murtis” (idols) in these 6 temples. On behalf of British Governor, the appointed Collector presented the land to Lord Swaminarayan for this temple. This temple was constructed by the “Agnya” (order) of Maharaj and under the guidance & supervision of Anandanand Swami. Bhagwan Swaminarayan installed the idols of Lord Nar-Narayan Dev in Vikram Samvat 1878 Falgun Shukla Tritiya (Monday February 24, 1822 A.D.) Maharaj also fed all the Brahmins of Ahmedabad, about 60,000 of them. The devotees of Kutch-Bhuj, Shri Gangaram Mall, Sundarji Sutar & Hirji Sutar requested Bhagwan Swaminarayan to construct a temple in Bhuj.
